Getting started
The H2 Neo runs on batteries. The battery compartment is on the underside, please mind the polarity. Switch it on with the main switch.
Start with a moderate intensity and change it in small steps. If playback sounds too bright or too forward, reduce slightly. If it sounds flatter or less tangible, increase slightly. Give each adjustment a few minutes.
After switching on, it takes about 20 minutes to reach full effect, and over a few days it can become even more even. We recommend leaving the H2 Neo switched on permanently.
Placement
Place the H2 Neo units on two adjacent sides of the room, as shown in the sketch in your manual. With only one pair, start on the wall behind the speakers. The front of the units faces into the room, towards the area between speakers and listening position.
Closer together: more focus and contour.
Further apart: a larger, wider stage.
We recommend the stands developed for H2. A height of about one metre is the proven reference and keeps the position reproducible.
The H2 System
Together with the Acoustic Sun Signature, the Acoustic Diamonds and the Black Stones for the room corners, the H2 Neo forms a system for better room acoustics. The position and orientation of each element clearly shape the overall effect, so follow the sketch and the individual manuals.
Successor to the H2 Plus
The H2 Neo is the current H2 model. The previous H2 Plus and H2 Plus Signature are no longer available.
