The mains are the foundation of everything your system reproduces. The Q5 works in parallel to the mains and filters out high-frequency interference. The background becomes quieter and the music gains more room.

Plug one Q5 into the power strip of your system and another into a free socket in the listening room.

Filtering without losing detail

A high-Q filter

Conventional mains filters smooth the sound, but they often also take energy and fine information away from the music. That is why the Q5 uses a high-Q parallel filter that attenuates by only about 3 dB at 10 MHz.

Both half-waves of the mains are treated equally through balanced pn junctions. This keeps an already well-balanced system open and rich in detail.

How to use it

Plug one Q5 into the power strip of your system or behind your power conditioner. Place a second one in a free socket elsewhere in the listening room. The Q5 is available in a Schuko and a US version.
